this is an important issue - hanging inputs etc., and the ERC rule
proposed would not be a bad thing, but what I have generally done is to
always place ALL the parts of a multi part comp in a corner of the
schematic somewhere while fetching the FIRST one
this makes you deal with them eventually and the ERC mostly picks them
up if left unconnected
nevertheless, these are some good ideas of Ian's but I worry about the
complexity of specifying all the wishes
off this topic...
don't you think it's really a pain the way the left pane (explorer)
opens up a file at the slightest touch, but the files in the right pane
need a firm dbl click?
you should be able to rename or delete (or whatever) a file in either
pane, but in the left pane you can't because you INADVERTENTLY opened it
up by selecting it
