Hello Joel,

Why buy a new system when you have a machine like this?
You've got great hardware!
I am still using an old (?) system with AMD K6-2-350 with "only" 128MB RAM,
with OS Windows2000.
On this system I use P99SE, SP6, no problems, even with large designs,
always using On Line DRC and sometimes using the autorouter (for what it's
worth).
I might be in the market for something new by the end of this year, because
my system is somewhat slow sometimes.
IMHO, if you want to spend some money on your system, spend it on a new OS:
Windows2000.
I did this approx. 9 months ago and it was "a giant leap" in stability,
compared with Win98.
If you have some money left after buying Win2K, you could invest it in some
additional RAM, that might give you some increase in performance.

Have a nice day!
