Mine already does....

I'm using 99SE SP6. I've just tested it and I'm able to place a pin
labelled, say:
Pin# = 1;    PinName = D0
Successive pin placements will auto-increment....
Pin# = 2;    PinName = D1
Pin# = 3;    PinName = D2, etc.

Maybe there is a hidden checkbox somewhere, but I don't ever remember not
having this facility.

Sometimes though the auto-increment should be auto-decrement, say in the
case where:
Pin#10 = D0
Pin#9 = D1.....etc.
Maybe a selectable Increment / decrement box somewhere....?
