I always do this; I highly recommend it. I'd also recommend to Protel that
the users be actively consulted when determining default rules,
collectively. At least users should have the opportunity to comment and
discuss the rules before they are foisted on unsuspecting new users. We've
made many comments in the past on defaults, but it would be useful to have
a coherent discussion. I'd assume that Protel could very easily change the
defaults and that such a change would be *relatively* harmless.
