Hi all,
I'm evaluating Protel for possible purchase (against the Price increase
deadline :-( ) I am mostly impressed just a couple of niggles, most i
have worked around or found the 'proper' way to do it. :-)
1. can you display both relative and absolute co-ords in the pcb editor? ie.
if i go to move something by dragging display 0,0 where its dragged from? i
know i can reset the origin etc but thats a pain.
2.What is the prefered way of adding zero ohm links to a single sided pcb?
i require them to be on the parts list (so can't duck to another layer and
just insert them later missing out top track layer) if i add a link, the
drc thinks it is a broken net. the only other way i thought of is adding
the link onto the schematic which is a pain as the pcb to schematic update
will not add components to the schematic automatically. Am i missing
something?
