Subject: [fossil-dev] Troubles rendering some unicode characters?
At http://www.fossil-scm.org/fossil/brlist there are characters on the
column labels that indicate sorting. The characters used are u+2b06,
u+2b07, and u+21f3. These render perfectly for me on Linux, Max,
Win7, and Win8, using FF, Chrome, IE, Safari, and Opera. And yet some
people are reporting they are getting crazy non-arrow characters in
those places.
Can anybody reproduce the reported problem? Suggested fixes?
Well I must be the perfect candidate for testing. Launching Google Chrome as a
guest doesn't change the outcome--I see boxes and not arrows. My remote
co-worker on Google Chrome doesn't have an issue and he's on Windows 7 HP as well.
Other colleague on Mac OS with Google Chrome sees the arrows fine.
