In an effort to make Fossil easier to navigate, I'm trying to
introduce <form> elements on the submenu - which was formerly only
buttons. Please compare:

I think the second version, while not perfect, is better than the
first. If you think otherwise, please speak up.
Suggestions for alternative controls are welcomed.
The current implementation is just a proof-of-concept. The whole
form-in-submenu idea can be carried through to the entire interface
once it is debugged. But lets get the look and interaction working
right before we go changing too much code.
The current implementation contains no styling on the <form> elements.
Help in this area would be greatly appreciated. Just post appropriate
CSS in a reply to the email.
