I never correlated the posting to this list and the spam replies. I’ve got so much spam coming in from so many sources that there’s no telling where it all originated. Even one who does manage to correlate the two should not assume that the Fossil organization is the one sending such messages out. They aren’t marked as such, and they’re pretty clearly off-topic. There is no reason to suppose they’re intentionally linked. I’m not saying it’s not a problem. As I said, I quickly took the extraordinary step here to prefilter such messages. I don’t need an NSFW problem with my boss looking over my shoulder. I am saying that breaking the mailing list just to deal with this one problem is overkill. Just filter it, either at the mailing list or at each client.
