Apologies to all if this is not the correct etiquette but I wanted to bring to
the attention of the Fossil users community a new finder extension for macOS
that has been recently released. I have no affiliation with the developer
(other than having written to them to ask if they would consider developing
this!) or any commercial interest.

Users may be familiar with ‘Tortoise’ - a windows interface adaptation that
tags icons in the explorer with badges to indicate that they are in sync with a
‘git' master repository, have been added/removed etc. Recently a there has been
a number of extensions written for other SCMs (git/mercurial and svn) by Langui
enabling the same sort of functionality on macOS. I approached Langui recently
to see if they would also consider supporting Fossil and they produced this new
app!

SnailFossil is now available on the Mac App Store:
https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/snailfossil/id1226366997?mt=12
<https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/snailfossil/id1226366997?mt=12>

I thought that this group would be a good place to bring this to users
attention. Again, apologies if it is not but I do think the app should be worth
a mention on the Fossil main site. There have been attempts to do this
previously but this is a fully functional solution which seems to work
extremely well.
