I realize that you mean that you have not yet built an Electron app, but chances are pretty good that you already use at least one Electron app: https://electronjs.org/apps Here’s a cherry-picked subset of likely candidates for this audience: - Atom (from which Electron was derived) - Visual Studio Code - Skype (late 2017 and newer only) - Signal - Slack Electron’s delivering on the promise of several prior cross-platform web-based or web-adjacent frameworks: Haxe, PhoneGap/Cordova, Adobe Flex, etc. And please, no flames.
