A trick I learned while painting at outdoor events is to stand on a piece of
cardboard or mat. It breaks up the cold from the pavement to your body. It
really seems to work.

Subject: [fpba-assn] looking for ideas to keep warm

Hi everyone, I just did Face Painting ( per face) at a Winter Chile Fest. They
had heat blown in. I have been home 2 1/2 hours and I am still cold. I was
dressed warm, but because they put the tent over a road, the pavement was
freezing, so it went right through my boots.
How do you all who does winter events keep warm? This was the first one ever in
our small town, and it was really good turn out. They will do it next year.
