John,The same menu options will open the Paragraph Catalog all the way back to
FM7.2.
The catalog will remain open until you manually close it or Frame.Dave

If you're using FrameMaker 12, then add the paragraph catalog to the pod.
Click Format > Paragraphs > Catalog. It will be automatically added to the pod.
Thereafter, if you want the catalog list to always stay open, right click the
pod and deselect Auto-Collapse Iconic Pods. When you are done, click on the
paragraph catalog pod to close it.
You may be able to follow the same process in other versions of FrameMaker (9+).

Hi, guys...I'm doing some reformat-intensive work and I find myself pressing F9
over and over to display and apply paragraph formats. When I select the format,
the list goes away.
Is there a way of detaching the list and have it stay open?
