Kevin et al,

I shoot exclusively on Nizo cameras, and I've had a problem with Kodak
cartridges jamming since about 2007. It happened with the 64T Ektachrome and
the 100D, as well as some of the last Kodachrome cartridges I used. I purchased
a batch of film (16 rolls) from Spectra last year, mainly Fuji velvia but some
Kodak too, and didn't have a single problem.

Likewise, I've pretty much given up on using the lap-dissolve function on my
Nizo's as this is a guaranteed way to make the cartridge jam.

As far as I can tell, this jamming is a sign of the times with Super 8...so
don't blame a particular seller or a particular camera. The suggestion to
firmly tap the cartridge a few times beforehand seems like a good one, and
carry a notebook in case you have to remove the cartridge mid-stream.
