> Does anyone know what is the difference between 7302 and 3302? Same emulsion, different base.
The polyester base is tougher and will last longer in a projector. The acetate base can be cement-spliced. You would want the acetate if you were using the positive film to make a (reversed left to right) interpositive from a negative original that you were going to edit into a reversal film. You would want the acetate if you were going to have a film that was B&W but had a few color scenes hand-edited into the print with cement. You would want the polyester if you were making a print that was going out to festivals and was going to be handled by people who were less than careful. --scott _______________________________________________ FrameWorks mailing list [email protected] https://mailman-mail5.webfaction.com/listinfo/frameworks
