Not if the binary's not called cc, no.
The nm binary I'm trying to use is called powerpc-elf-nm
I can set CC in my environment to powerpc-elf-gcc and, provided I have my
path set correctly, it works. I can't do the same with NM. This is what
my patch addresses.
