I open it so we do not forget that v2.6 of civ2civ3 does include forts that
are currently using the gfx "fort" instead of the new "outpost" introduced in
patch #5841.
We could rename the text and help too, if you agree that outpost is a better
name.
However, there is one thing I'm not liking about this prebase that I do not
know how to fix: when a fortress is built, the fort/outpost is kept in the
same tile (since it is a pre-requisite), and both gfxs are shown at same time,
something that looks good in Amplio2, but not so good in Amplio.
Also, you can decide to pillage the fort/outpost, while keeping the fortress,
resulting in a tile that looks the same than a fortress, but grants a lower
protection (50% defense).
I've being unable to implement the fortress so it requires the fort to start
building it, but then it replaces the fort when finished. Do you know if
possible?
