Hi,

my win2000 system with a Western Digital 74GB disk (10.000rpm, 8MB cache, SerialATA)
is behaving weirdly.
pri1 15GB NTFS,
pri2 20GB FAT32 label WD74F32DATA (I think)
pri3 35GB NTFS label WD74BIGDATA

however Windows shows only pri1, and 55GB with driveletter H: which it wants to format. (which ofcourse I don't..ruins everything).
Is there anyone able to help me?
a Google search did return results, but only DEMO software, not some freeware tool or Linux program.
I can burn Knoppix to DVD/CD if Linux is required for your solution.

Luckily my FreeDOS files are on my SCSI drive.
Ofcourse no backups of 55GB..(music collection, and my multi-boot DVD, old homework, hardware drivers, etc)

I tried some DOS-based recovery software which found the FAT32 and NTFS partitions, but as said, they're DEMO versions and thus could not
generate a new MBR and partition table (and perhaps valid bootsector stuff.).

Any help or tips appreciated very much.

Bernd
