Are you creating pri1 as Primary partition, pri2 and pri3 as extended?

Weird detection may happen if pri3 is also a extended partition, it
should be a logical drive IN the pri2 partition that take up all space
that after primary partition was created.

I have no SATA because rumors SATA still having problems on several
motherboard chipset ... to save your data, maybe you need to get a ATA
hard disk and backup ASAP.
