For me it was usually hang / illegal instruction for small EMM= values
and spontaneous reboot (page fault??) for bigger values. Whatever.
Cool that you found and fixed it.

Very nice. Maybe even pcwelt will wait for that :-).

At least the reallocation part improves compatibility in general
(while the others fix specific cases and could be worked around
by avoiding bug-triggering configurations usually...), really a
recommended update for everybody. And of course EMM=... becomes
much more useful now that it works for all values.

Note the warning about spaceships. But I do not think that there will
be further EMM386-specific problems with it. Some ramdisk troubles
maybe, though. We will see...

PS: You could mention HIMEM /TEST in the HIMEM /? screen. Can be useful
as a test-and-benchmark tool to compare different HIMEMs - if you know
that it exists.
