Hi! Upon boot FreeDOS 1.0 AUTOEXEC.BAT prints "type HELP to get support..." and "Welcome to FreeDOS". Please also echo two lines for aliases "reboot" and "halt". Novices just turning off their PCs (or emulators), might loose some data otherwise. Btw: Why does it not print "FreeDOS 1.0"? Typing "ver/r" also doesn't reveal "1.0". This might confuse newbies.
And please strip trailing blanks from FDCONFIG.SYS and AUTOEXEC.BAT. ;-) Robert Riebisch -- BTTR Software http://www.bttr-software.de/ ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ Freedos-devel mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/freedos-devel
