Isn't it not only a replacement for EMM386, but also for MEMMAKER?

I have no idea. I never used 386MAX back in the day, but if it came with a
MEMMAKER-like utility, perhaps that will be included in the source code,
should he decide to release it.

Perhaps you can ask him in that GitHub thread.

I never did either.  But I'm pretty sure its chief competitor, QEMM, did.
