That would be weird in a _Free_DOS(-related) project. ("Free" in the
"gratis" meaning here, not the "open source".)

I din't know but why should I care? Good for them. :-) They accepted the situation that this is their job, with all advantages (being paid etc.) and disadvantages (having a boss etc.). I'm sure they (i.e. the companies they work in) _do_ sell something - e.g. professional customer support -, otherwise they couldn't make money, unless they are crowd sourced or company/government sponsored (?).

However, _this_ is FreeDOS, not GNU/Linux. I was trying to show you the mindset why possibly a money offer wouldn't work at all - perhaps, even the opposite - in a different kind of "society". I never had the feeling that someone here tried to sell anything, only be proud of their accomplishments that became part of FreeDOS. Bye,
