If you are having problems with UDVD2 on your system, you may need a different driver. There are several CD/DVD drivers that the CD initialization routine will try (when present) before attempting UDVD2. Unfortunately, those drivers are not open source and are not included in the release. I suggest VIDE-CDD.SYS or OAKCDROM.SYS. Both are fairly easy to to find and freely available online (google). Just put the SYS file(s) in the %DOSDIR%\BIN directory (ie. FREEDOS\BIN) and the CD initialization will see the driver(s) and try it first. :-) Jerome
