That may make adjustments to the batch files shipped with FreeDOS necessary. 
There are quite a few things, like set /e, that FreeCOM supports and SvarCOM 
not. Not sure though if these are used in the batch files.

To be honest, on a 8086, using SvarDOS as a whole would probably be the less 
painful option (to the user).
