I was building freecom with buldall.bat which seems to try to compile all languages... but seems to need 7z, and git to be installed .... which is not/was not the case in previous mesgs... it is unclear that git is available under FreeDOS
so reading: https://github.com/FDOS/freecom/blob/master/docs/compile.txt I am now trying: build wc en or: build -r wc en for FreeCom 0.85a code... under FreeDOS 1.3 but getting: fixstrings.c: This program needs to be compiled with far data pointers.... It feel weird to get this error on what seems would be a common configuration: english with Watcom compiler... so wondering if it is a true error or me not doing things right.
