Yes, this is possible to combine CHS and LBA access in one FAT32+8086.
Though, (currently) there remains no free bytes. 32-bit code is shorter and
there will be remained around 30 bytes. BTW, in fat12 there currently 53
bytes free (was 0), in fat16 there 59 bytes.
