Hi guys, i myself prefer qemu which seems(imho) faster bochs, gpl and for linux hosts now they have what they call kvm - http://kvm.qumranet.com/kvmwiki this feature can be found on mainline linux kernel(2.6.20+) but you will need a recent intel or amd processor, kvm uses intel's vt instruction or amd-v instructions, also if you don't have a really recent processor don't worry they have kqemu a module that works on windows or linux and speedup qemu sometimes 5x... another important thing is that qemu is really simple for example
"qemu -m ram -boot boot-device -fda flp -hda hd -cdrom cdrom.iso -localtime -soundhw all -usb" ram -> how much ram you want to allocate boot-device -> a for floppy, c for (real)hdd or images, d for cdrom(real or virtual) flp -> name of virtual or real floppy hd -> name of virtual or real hdd cdrom.iso -> name of virtual or real cdrom -localtime -> to get your system time -soundhw all -> to support audio -usb -> to support usb i advise you to use qemu, give it a chance :P qemu - www.qemu.org kvm - http://kvm.qumranet.com/kvmwiki Regards, Geraldo On 14/03/07, Mark Bailey <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > > Giorgos wrote: > >> DON"T USE MICROSOFT'S VIRTUAL PC.
