One should keep in mind, that Microsoft indeed has changed the VirtualPC from their first version (2004) on - we used the pre-Microsoft version of that tool for a DOS based software and Novell Netware connector. Starting with VirtualPC (from Microsoft) the network speed reduces dramatically ...... therefore we gave up the idea of using the VirtualPC for that stuff.
