4DOS is a drop in replacement for COMMAND.COM.  It has no built-in
XCOPY - XCOPY is implemented as an external command in MS-DOS, and
4DOS doesn't try to build it in.

The issue here appears to be in the network layer, and will likely
bite with XCOPY as well as COPY.  I think the prior suggestion of
loading SHARE amy be the right answer.
