The Revo RL80 is a media center device running Windows 8.1 64 bit. It's not clear what your problem is. Are you saying the RL80 won't successfully boot into Win8? This is an Acer problem, and FreeDOS probably won't help you. > I'm only left with the command prompt and have no idea how to continue. > I've tried to boot from the three options in the boot menu screen but with > no luck. FreeDOS is a 16 bit system, and not supported on 64bit machines. You would need to run a VM and run FreeDOS inside of that. How are you attempting to load FreeDOS? What are you loading *from*? FreeDOS apparently doesn't recognize the hardware, which isn't a big surprise. And *why* are you trying to load FreeDOS? What do you plan to do with it if you can get it to run? > Any help would be greatly appreciated > Thanks in advance > Stan ______ Dennis ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Rapidly troubleshoot problems before they affect your business.
