However, at the same time, the system in the link above is shipped without an optical drive, so an error message about the CDROM driver/MSCDEX replacement not being able to load is to be expected. In case the OP indeed comes back to the mailing list, a bit more info if the purchase of that system without Windows (of any version) was indeed intended. My guess, without seeing a screenshot is that FreeDOS is already in some form pre-installed and pretty much would be "ready to use", beside the missing or unsupported (SATA?/USB?) CD-ROM/DVD drive...
