I suspect your FreeDOS install CD (LiveCD) is currently on D: so your
Mortal Kombat 2 CD is on another drive letter (probably E:)

Type this:

DIR E:

..and if you see an INSTALL.EXE there, then that's probably the Mortal
Kombat 2 CD. If so, change to the E: drive and run the install program:

E:
INSTALL
