I suspect your FreeDOS install CD (LiveCD) is currently on D: so your Mortal Kombat 2 CD is on another drive letter (probably E:)
Type this: DIR E: ..and if you see an INSTALL.EXE there, then that's probably the Mortal Kombat 2 CD.
