If I'm not mistaken, the act of requesting a file from a node can 
cause that file to be placed on that node (if it is not there 
already). Therefore, if their software works by requesting "illegal" 
files, they very well might be putting the software on the nodes they 
incriminate.

Sounds like entrapment to me.

Anyhow, that's how I remember Freenet working, back a few months 
back. Since I haven't really been active, you all probably have 
changed its inner workings on me  :)
