I disagree, pseudoupdating has the benefit that you can guarantee that you have the latest version of a document, so-called "real" updating won't have such guarantees. Pseudoupdating is perfect for regular publication of stuff, where as real-updating wouldn't be. I think there will always be a place for pseudo-updating for this reason. Ian.
