Howdy all!
I have an idea (don't know if it will work or not though)
If I understand KSK/CHK/SSK/SVK/ETC, KSK is just basically a redirect to
the actuall CHK (which is a hash of the data), SSK is a verified/subspace
key where other KSK/CHK's are known and include a public/private key
encryption.
Here's the idea.
for SSK/SVK updating, Give the KSK/CHK along with a secret key parameter
(corresponding to however your SSK/SVK was setup)
The If the KSK or CHK or SSK/SVK ETC. have a matching key for decoding it,
then change the residing key (if any) to the new key that you are sending.
IE, I have Freenet:SVK@lioou08347/Alpha/test.exe
currently I would have to have Freenet:SVK@lioou08347/Alpha/%Date% (or
MMDDYYYY)/test.exe for the latest one.
with my Idea you would pass to Freenet, "FInsert
Freenet:SVK@lioou08347/Alpha/test.exe -sk=lionsandtigers" (where
lionsandtigers is the secret key and lioou08347 is the public key/hash or
whatever.
Just my $.02
Thnx,
Fuller
ps. I may be way off in my understanding of SSK/SVK and how they work but
this is just an idea. please correct me if I'm wrong
