Done.

Tim:

If you'd like some help learning how to manage a free software project, myself and
Bryce Harrington have been discussing working with other projects to teach them a
little of what we've learnt developing
the WorldForge project. We've been developing systems for Massively Multiplayer Online
Roleplaying Games, perhaps a trivial matter compared to fixing the mess that medical
IT is in, but still a major
feat of engineering, involving the contributions of hundreds over the last 2 years. We
feel we'll soon be in a position to take on the proprietary solutions, but will be
even happier to have major
commercial projects using our software. Nobody buys the Everquest client software for
it's own sake, right?

Our project involves the contribution, not just of code, but of artwork, documents,
stories, rulesets and project support functions. Licencing has been a major issue,
especially with our artists who are
of a vastly different culture to our coders. However, we've settled on free licences
for that component of the project too. However, we're not here to dictate your
licencing conditions. We just like to
help the community, again not simply for altruistic reasons but with appreciation for
the network effects that contributes to the rise of free software itself.

But we do like to help for the sake of altruism too. ;-)

Have fun, it's important!
