Just some of my comments: based on my experience on this project (and probably many of us), even the MS RDP server does not follow the MS RDP documentation in quite a few places. I would say that the MS RDP documentation is *NOT* a strict protocol, but just a reference for the actual implementation. More specific to this problem: if mstsc accepts it, we should too. Just give a warning.
