To me the most important things would be: -Capable of booting of firewire drives (got a Sony VAIO laptop here <G>) -Includes the NTFS tools (often prefer to use *nix based systems such as BSD/Linux to do NTFS repair/resize/copy/etc.) -Recovery tools for different FSs (such as NTFS, FATxx, EXTx, etc.) -Choice of either a lean Xorg/WM combination or the full Gnome/KDE environments -Possibility to select a live DVD instead of CD (Hey, the more 'll fit on there, the better! <G>) I know some of the stuff is already there, just reiterating them to prevent them from disappearing!
