I've had a look at both win32e and win32p sound servers. I'm not having any
'no sound' problems using either server (which MIDI out device are you using
Chris?). win32e does have performance problems, but the only obvious thing I
can pin this down to is two extra if statements in do_sound(). Anyway, my
next CVS commit should have some very minor (i.e. probably unnoticeable)
performance improvements to win32e.
