Hmm. I have actually had no sound for quite some time (starting with like a build in early February). I did a clean CVS download just the other day and it still didn't work. I have tried both the win32e and win32p sound servers as well as all three midi devices I have:
1 - Santa Cruz DLS 2 - Santa Cruz External Midi (I have a MIDI daughtercard) 3 - Microsoft Software Synth So I have tried all of those three in all different combinations with either the win32e or win32p servers and still only get a little audible "pop" upon initialization of freesci. I haven't changed my sound drivers recently either & have had no other sound issues on my system. Hmmm, Chris >I've had a look at both win32e and win32p sound servers.
