Elecraft is another name that comes to mind (I have an Elecraft K2 in my hamshack), although I think I understand the general meaning behind what Kristoff wrote; there are a lot of projects that don't succeed because the people doing them don't understand the subtle nuances of running a business and they get discouraged enough to just give up.
