Hi Stephen,

Once you're within +/- 200Hz, the modem will sync almost immediately,
then track any drift.  Unlike SSB, there isn't really any concept of
"better" or "fine" tuning - makes no difference to the modem.

The +/-200Hz is just an arbitrary limit, and I've found it's pretty easy
to tune that close by ear.
