A package for FreeBSD sounds great Stephen, thanks.  Use the head of the
SVN branches fdmdv2 & codec.  We have just set up those branches so best
wait a few weeks until the current batch of testing is complete, however
feel free to release a test package is you like.

Is it possible pls to have some build instructions for those intrepid
souls who want to do their own FreeBSD build?
