Things have been pretty quiet on the list for a while. Does that mean there
aren't any bugs? Everyone's happy?
Here's what I have planned for the next few weeks. Unless something
disastrous happens, FreeTrade will be tagged as version 1.0 at the end of
the month. All the features we wanted originally are there, and we squashed
a lot of bugs.
The final version of PHP4 will be out soon. The next version of FreeTrade
will require PHP4 because I want to take advantage of new features, such as
include() allowing return values.
So, the next step should be to revisit the requirements specification.
Let's talk about the features we really want. There are quite a few people
lurking on the list. Speak up! I'll start working on a new version of the
requirements spec.
No real work has been done on a Java version of FreeTrade. We'd like to use
Turbine and ECS. Who's interested in taking a stab at it? If you read PHP,
it should be a fairly easy implementation. Let me know if you're
interested.
