It actually varies based on the machine. Also, I'm still using Alsa 0.90rc1 because it works, and frankly, Alsa changes so much between revisions that I haven't got the time to work around it. I probably won't reconfigure alsa until kernel 2.6 is out and I have to :)
You can have my alsa ctl file if you'd like, but unless you're on the same version, I can't promise it'll help much.
