Hi Mark, Hi Aubin!

I upgraded my Debian unstable some days ago and today I tried to fire up
my freevo.
I just got the same crash as Mark is doing. I'm using Aubin's apt-source
for my freevo-stuff, even though I'm grabing freevo from CVS.

So, freevo is crashing because of some missing fonts.
First it crashed with missing timesbd.ttf, so I grabbed the mscorefonts
(they are now available under X for me).
Still complaining. So I symlinked the font under
/usr/share/fonts/truetype to timesbd.ttf in
/usr/local/freevo/skins/fonts/

That brought freevo some steps further, now it complains about missing
Arial_Bold, Impact and something else I can't remember yet.

I'm using a patched version of SDL_ttf2, since I thought that could be
the problem. But now, I'm afraid it isn't :(

I think, that freevo/SDL_ttf2 isn't looking into your global font-paths
or querying the X-System/Fontserver for fonts, but only looking into
$freevodir/skins/fonts/

Could that be the problem?

Cheers,
Manuel
