Good point, but are you sure the sun could really
cause an RC event?  Isnt' the IR signal modulated with
~38 KHz.  Is sunlight capable of spoofing this
moduleation thereby causing the IR
detector/demodulator to toggle?

Of course there is still the problem that any other
remote, like for a stereo would turn the PC on (but
why would anyone need anything but 1 Freevo box and 1
remote :) ?
