That's all very strange. IIRC this started for some people (it works for me) after I added the animation stuff from Viggo. But Viggo didn't change the normal player stuff, it's in childapp and it's shared between all types of players (even the xine video plugin). Someone, please test the following: o remove audio.mplayer and add audio.xine. Does this work? o video is still working, right? o does this also happen when mplayervis is activated? o set CHILDAPP_DEBUG = 1 in local_conf.py, try again and take a look at the debug output in /var/log/freevo (file should be called mplayer-uid) > I'm not home right now but when I have a chance I'll dig a little > deeper.
