Afternoon Ben,

IMHO I dont think running Apache or MySQL on your host will 'break' daemons 
on the VS's as long as they are both configured to run on your hosts IP (or 
an alias) 
Maybe I'm not thinking straight today... might have been the bottles of wine 
from last night! => but yeh, I cant see any problems with either of the two 
terrible twins (apache, Mysql) running on your host (nor PHP for that matter)
Get back to me, tell me if you think I'm full of it. =>
