Yes this is correct. freeVSD now supports multiple skels which must reside
in the mountpoint/skel directory (/home/vsd/skel by default).

Is this a fresh installation of freeVSD? Did you already have any virtual
servers defined before introducing the skel as that could produce these
errors...

If you are using the downloaded skel you do not need to install (or even
download) the freevsd-pkgs (RTFM - see INSTALL or README).
